Services and Fees
Doula Services:
As my doula client, the services you will receive are as follows:
Face to face consultation to determine whether or not we are an appropriate fit for one another.
2 Prenatal appointments (If I am chosen to be your doula in the last month of your pregnancy, this may be cut down to one appointment dependant upon our collective schedules).
I will be present at your birth from the time we decide together that arrival is necessary, until generally about an hour after the childbirth. The stay may be longer if you are needing additional assistance with breastfeeding, etc.
A minimum 1 Postpartum visit.
Unlimited contact throughout your pregnancy via email and phone to answer any questions you may have, or help you work through any fears or issues that may arise. I have a great network of birth workers if there are any issues that need additional attention.
The cost for doula services is $650. The initial consultation is free of charge. If we choose to work together, half is due at our first prenatal appointment, and half is due before 37 weeks. I do believe that every woman deserves a doula, and if you have a special circumstance that should be considered, please contact me regarding a payment plan.
If you are on dshs or are low income, doula services are $325, payable in three installments.
Photography:
During your childbirth, photography services will be offered at no additional fee. You will receive a disc of your photos with no copyright so that you may make as many prints as you like. I offer pregnancy photography and infant photography on site as a package for an additional $150 (making the total cost $800). This includes all of your photos on a disc, once again with no copyright leaving you the option of making as many prints as you'd like.
Childbirth Courses:
Childbirth courses are offered privately in your home at a cost of $200. It is generally offered in three appointments that are around 2 hours long each. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding classes.
